would these be able to be used in a freezer?

These are acrylic so I would only use them for dry storage. They are not an option for freezer, you can ask my roommate what happened when he put one in the freezer. I have a new roommate.

watertight?/waterproof?

Great gasket, so definitely very water resistant. Not sure about waterproof, holding pet food at the moment so not going to test.
