Traveled to Italy and wanted this to look at the paintings of Italy.. Like the book and it is as described.

Beautiful for a coffee table

This book has it all. Amazing reference on the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel. A little lighter on St Peter’s but covers some of the best sculptures. I am enjoying it immensely.

This book is really high quality. It has a thick cover on top of the hardbound cover it has on the book itself. I didn't know it was so high quality when I purchased it. I had expected a nice paperback, so when I got a collector-quality hardbound oversized book in an outer hard shell as well, I was really pleasantly surprised. It is definitely a book that will last a very long time. I'm an artist myself, so I'm extremely pleased with the quality and the contents of the book.

I had been it Italy in 1973 for 7 monts took me 8 days to see all the ceilng and wall painting in the Saint Peter Basilika. It's something what I newer forget. I did purchase a book there for my aunt which is gone.That now I got this book I will treasure it as long as I live the broblem what I have is I sayed in Italy I'm not going to die till I see the Basilika paintings again

A beautiful book. Although it is reported to include a DVD, I don't find one.
