You never know when you are buying batteries online, but these work. Bought them to bring some new life into an older RC car. They did not job. Will buy this brand again.

In all honesty, I bought this battery over the other 3000mah 7.2v packs because it's my favorite color, and it's just going to be my backup and testing battery, so obviously the color is the most important quality.Joking aside, this easy-on-the-eyes NiMh pack is great. There's not much to say that can't be gleaned from the listing, so here's some overall info covering the things that have been clouded with buzzwords in the listing itself:1. It has a fairly standard large Tamiya connector2. Like any other NiMh, it needs to be minded well, and I strongly recommend the GoolRC B6 charger:GoolRC B6 Mini Professional Balance Charger/Discharger for LiPo Lilon LiFe NiCd NiMh Pb RC Battery3. Make sure you educate yourself on NiMh charging, a quick Google search will help you out, and READ READ READ until you feel smart.4. This pack is designed for RC use, which means good current output. I haven't really verified that yet, but it's kinda hard to mess that up.5. It's not the highest capacity, but if you're replacing a shot 1200mah NiCd pack from something old enough to be labelled "Sears", it will seem like a miracle. I had exactly that kind of battery in an old 80's RC truck I got from a yard sale. That old NiCd pack ran poorly and only recharged twice before the cells actually physically puffed out when I put it on my smart charger, which I have since (thankfully) replaced that with the B6 mentioned above.I haven't actually tested the capacity yet, come to think of it... Maybe I'll update my review later. Or I'll forget in the next 90 seconds and never bother. Either way, it fits the bill, it has the power, hopefully someone who uses it as a main battery can give a more in-depth review and a capacity analysis.---UPDATE---It seems that the capacity of this battery is really up to spec, at least according to my knock-off b6 charger. I'd have sworn there was a review on here about the capacity being low, but as far as I can figure, this is a very good quality battery.Until you switch to LiPo.

Returning to the RC car business after several years, all the good old batteries died. So have to get some new one. I have tested several NiMH battery and Li-ion battery. Just want to share with you my test results.1. But the worst part is that its internal resistance is 0.2 ohm.After one trial, the outer plastic wrap broken.Even worst, after one use, one of the cell is shorted internally.Not recommended.2. Tested to be around 4500mAh, internal resistance is about 0.04 ohm (very good).Cannot try it on my Tamiya Dark Impact since the battery is bigger than the battery compartment. My fault. I expect the performance to be good.About 4500mAh/$26.5 = 170mAh/$Charging method: Charge at 1C rate by automatic charger.Discharge method: Li-ion, discharge to 3.0V per cell. NiMH, dicharge to 0.9V per cell.

I feel that this is a great price for a battery pack and I received it quickly.I gave it a fresh charge when I received it (plan on that) and then installed it in my robot. It has been working excellently. I try to let it get close to dead (15% - 10%) and then charge.In general (not just for this battery), if you want to swap/charge earlier, you might want a drain device or a changer that will discharge before charging. These batteries work better if they are close to being discharged (but not dead) before they are recharged.

I use these battery for my Traxxas nitro easy start remote. Works great and doesn't die as quick as my previous 3600mah battery. Been through 12 charge cycles and it's holding up great.

While the battery looks right and connects properly it does not seem to last near as long as other batteries we have had. Not sure if we happen to get a faulty battery but or what.Update:We were contacted by the seller who promptly sent us out a replacement battery. The first battery must have just been a faulty battery because the replacement battery definitely lasts so much longer. Wow what amazing A+ customer service! Highly recommend this battery and seller!
