Wonderful Read
This book takes you out of the comfort of your home and into the streets of Harlem and the Bronx during the 80s. Unless you are a NYC native, you may not understand the struggle of the residents and youth during this time. David Collins helps to bring you into their world to understand that to make a living, when legal jobs and opportunities were few for African American youth, hard choices were made. No More Harlem shows how peer pressure and the vibe in the street can pull you into a life that you never expected to live. Take a break from your daily life and dive into this unbelievable world of crime and drugs. Open your mind and see the world from a different perspective. You won't be dissapointed.

Felt like I was there (but I’m glad I wasn’t)
Very good book, David was able to paint such vivid images with his words. I would have loved to hear more about the aftermath of the demise of the Preacher Crew, how did affect the street, how did everyone react to finding out all the things they were involved in? Great book!

Five Stars!!!!!
Mindblowing!!! Two decades later I walked those streets that have no traces of the menace in the story. Hell of a history. Hell of a book.
