Since none of the remote doorbells sold here are actually water resistant (let alone waterproof) this clear cover is a must have. Unless (according to numerous reviews) you want phantom rings or to replace them every so often due to water damage. This thing is well designed in that it covers most of the button but allows for an easy angled finger reach from underneath to press. It’s probably slightly wider than it needs to be for most of these doorbells it’s meant to used with but it’s clear and pretty innocuous.

I teach music lessons and have my students use a back door to my studio, the entrance is directly from the parking lot, and for security, we keep it locked.. I was going to make a bell/ button cover when I found this.. It looked good, clean, and professional, so I bought it..! It was easy to install on the siding by the door, although putting the bell in, with the double sided tape was a pain in the neck.! I used the screw mounts, and got the cover secured, but the bell was not as easy to slip in, and get straight..! But Musicians don't seem to be too level headed most of time, anyway. and no-one has noticed that it is a little off...! All in all, it was worth the money, and I would buy again, if needed..

Well, it's just what I should have mounted my doorbell button box in when it was new. I did make a mistake when I mounted it. I put the doublestick tape a little too high in the cover, so the doorbell isn't fastened very well, but that's my fault.

Easy to install

Unable to use for Ring4! It did Not fit!

I purchased this because I was concerned my ring doorbell would get damaged during heavy rain storms. However the plexiglass that it is made out of interfered too much with the clarity of my camera. Therefore I still had to cut the face off that was blocking my camera so it defeats the purpose of putting it up the start with. We cut the front face out ... we left the top and the sides so hopefully it still blocks enough rain from my ring doorbell but overall it is not what I expected. If you are shielding a regular doorbell I guess it will be fine but if you have a video doorbell it will distort your view slightly.
