Don't bite down too hard and you will have no problems with it splitting. If you are looking to bite hard, pay more for something stronger. This is perfect for me. It leaves my jaws feel a bit sore, but I can see a difference in a tightening of my jawline.

Idk about an exerciser, sounds like a crock... but i have bruxism and i been using this for a while everyday to help hold a stretch for 10 minutes, or until im drooling from the lack of closing my mouth. Stretching really does help a lot. This isnt a big stretch, but i can purposefully control my open jaw in a relaxed state. Makes a difference.

Is this BPA free it does not say and it has me worried it is not

I bought the "advanced" black 70 lbs exerciser as I understand that the lighter ones lack the strength to hold their form. I am pleased with it but wish to point out that 70 lbs. is high enough resistance to induce a bit of a gag reflex when my muscles are strained. So I began with just low repetition and was quick to take a break. It's been easy to increase the number of reps.Second, the jawline quickly becomes more pronounced, but won't really pop without more sunken cheeks from body fat not exceeding the lower teens.It would be nice if it came with a case to catch the drool, but who said weight lifting focuses on hygiene anyway.

It broke on the first use. I know it was cheap, but sure expected it to last longer than a day

This item worked great at first, but it completely split apart within a matter of days. I saw other reviews that claimed this and took my chances. If you take the same gamble, you’ll be in a similar boat.

For what your paying it's a pretty good product.
