Great replacement fan assembly!
I have a 2008 Ford Edge with tow package with almost 180k miles. The A/C suddenly quit blowing cold at idle but worked as long as the car was moving. I checked the fans and the driver's side fan was not working. Ordered this replacement on a Sunday and it arrived on Thursday. The assembly looks very nicely made and very similar to the OEM part. It was well packaged with expandable foam blocks to insulate it in its box. I watched several YouTube videos on how to do the swap and am more convinced than ever that YouTube is populated by morons and imbeciles. The clips ranged from a few minutes to almost 30 minutes but can all be summed up as "remove old part, install new part". That's exactly how "helpful" they are! So since there's an absence of info on this I'll share some tips on what I learned:- There are two 8mm bolts that hold the assembly in, one on each side. Remove the air box and air box bracket to get to the one on the driver's side.- The fan assembly can be swapped without removing the radiator hose. Take a couple of straps and use them to pull the hose and wiring harness as far from the radiator as possible (after unsnapping the wiring harness connectors from the fan assembly).- My model has something no one mentioned anywhere- the bottom radiator hose is clamped to the bottom of the fan assembly. It's an 8mm bolt, remove it before trying to pull the fan assembly.- You don't need to disconnect the connectors from the fans to the controller, only the one from the main wiring harness to the controller. It's on the driver's side. There is a tab on it, depress the tab and pull on the connector to remove.- The fan assembly is a very tight fit. I had to pull it towards the driver's side and then rotate it 90 degrees to get it out of the car. Be careful not to damage the fins on the radiator with the corners of the fan assembly. It took a lot of persuasion to get it out.- To install the new fan assembly I did the same thing- rotated it 90 degrees to drop it in and then rotated it back as I worked it into place.- Reinstall everything in reverse order, don't forget to bolt that lower radiator hose bracket back on!I hope that helps! I didn't time it but I think it took me around 45 minutes. I've been driving the Edge a week since the replacement and so far so good! The fans seem as quiet to me as OEM and perform just as good.I will try to remember to follow up in a few months.08-08-16 update- a little over a month and a couple thousand miles later and it's still working great!

2004 Ford Edge Radiator Fans Great And Easy Install
2004 Ford SUV Edge was over heating (took very long to overheat-25+ minutes) and AC wasn’t working. Slid right into place with about 6 bolts removed. There a good video that show how to remove it by sliding it to the driver side, under the upper radiator hose. Was very easy, as the video said, there was little forcing it into place. But, was much easier than having to drain the system and remove hoses and refill. Went very well. The fans are strong and keep the everything VERY cool. AC is colder than ever. The radiator bolt pattern DID match up with the original bolt pattern. NO drilling and NO special wiring needed, “plug and play”. Wiring harness matched right up. Easy.As for photo, it looks like it does in the product photo. Although, it’s upside down in this picture... The fan converter box goes on the top (drivers side of the engine compartment).

Nice choice for the money
Excellent product... fit perfectly and works as factory unit. Some reviews stated this fan was overly loudduring operation, but mine sounds about like the factory unit. Take note... when making the connection to thevehicle power plug, make sure it is pushed all the way together. If not pushed until it clicks, it can vibrate loose.

Great! comes with a fan control module which is really expensive to by at the local parts store. win
it is a factory design, so lots of weak plastic mounting points. Product built well and worked perfect, tight fit, takes some patients to line up and mount securely. but well worth the money I paid.

2 Years and Still going
Bought this fan 2 years ago and have had zero issues. Install wasn't bad either. Happy with purchase.

Perfect fit
I ordered this to replace the one that was going bad in my 2009 Edge. It fit great and fixed my malfunctioning a/c issue. Sadly, because of the age and further deterioration of the car, I ended up trading it in the day after I had this part put in. (Was not expecting to make the purchase, but just take a look) Anyway, the part arrived in perfect condition and installed easily.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!
So, myself... Like many, I read a lot of reviews before I purchase something online, whether it be shoes/clothes or auto parts. I just like to know the quality of the product. Our fan went out on our Lincoln and I took to Amazon to find a replacement for it. I came across this one, and for this price.. needless to say we were beyond excited. lol We installed it on Saturday afternoon (today is Monday). It installed easily and seemed to be working properly. I tested it to be sure it was working as it should. The next morning, my family got up to make a 2 hour drive to go to the beach. We got almost there, the car was fine and I remembered I had forgotten something, so I stopped off to get it. I left the car running with my family inside and went in the store (in and out in less that 5 minutes). When I returned to my car, the ac was hot, our car was so hot inside. I didn't understand why, then I thought well it's worked fine until it sat, so I backed out expecting the ac would cool while we drove (I would get this checked when we returned home). Before I left the parking lot my car was overheated and at the maximum temperature. I parked and checked, the fan was not working... Even though it was brand new. I am hoping this did not cause any damage to my engine, or this company will be held responsible for the damages.
