I purchased these for 16.50 prime. I use them for storing soups and stews when I make large amounts. For more liquid soups, it's about two or three meals for me. For less liquid stews, it's about four or five meals for me, so I can easily plan accordingly in terms of what to take out of the freezer when planning meals for the week.They do harden in the freezer so they can be difficult to open if you open them right away out of freezer. If you let them thaw or run them under warm water, it is easier. They are sturdy with a pinch of flexibility to allow for a decent seal. I like these better than the newer ones with the little latch on the top for microwaving. They're way better than the disposable ones.I like that they're small enough to carry in my work bag when I walk to work. However, if there is any liquid in them, I put them in a zip lock bag or two to avoid any seeping into my work bag since I have to store them sideways in the bag.I do prefer these for home use due to possible leakage. I do not recommend these for the bottom of a cooler filled with ice but would be okay with one filled with the plastic ice blocks.Still searching for a leakproof container that is lightweight for work.For the price point, I'm satisfied and would buy again .

We didn't try it in microwave, but they are easy to use and stackable well.

I read a review on preserving fresh berries and their result was air tight was best.I have had blueberries (big ones) in one of these for 2 months without any wrinkling or mold.Need to "burp" it like tupperware to get air out. I'm sold.

Was looking for some flat plastic storage containers I could use to freeze some family size portions of marinaded chicken breasts. These US-made Rubbermaid containers work great for this...they're more heavy duty than the cheaper containers from the supermarket, lids fit snugly, and the containers snap together so they don't slide around if you stack them. Happy with the purchase so far, now I don't have to use plastic storage bags that have to be thrown out once I defrost the chicken.

I love the shape and size of these containers as they are low profile in my refrigerator and are perfect for various sliced cheeses and luncheon meats (or anything else; i.e., left-overs, etc.).This set contains four smaller volume containers and one larger volume container. I do wish that the larger size were available to buy separately or in a set.
