Yes uses the standard "Old Style" 4 pin connector, and can attach 3 fans to it. Fan(s) will be on constant no thermal buffer, recommend low noise low velocity fan just to cool case internal temperature. Good Buy

Q: Why is this labeled a 4 pin molex when it clearly shows only 2 molex pins in the pictures and reviews?

this fits a 4 pin slot, its actually 2, all it does is power fans fits a 3 pin slot on the fan side and fits a 4 pin molex supplying only 2 pins of power outbound and a ground, you have no control of fan speed, its either on all the way or don't plug it in, works great if you don't care if your fans run full speed all the time.

Q: would this fit the Fractal Prisma AL-12 3-pin fan power?

Not seeing the AL-12, but the AL-14 has this connector, and it is mostly standard.

Q: How long is 1 segment. 8”?

The cables are in 8" lengths, daisy chained for a total of around 20 inches or so. I used this in my full sized desktop, and the cables were almost too long. I had to loop them and tie them out of the way.
