Q: Handle keeps sliding down when in use. Is there a way to lock it in upright position?

There is a button that locks into place when the handle is fully extended.

Q: Is the handle supposed to collapse with the push of the button?

Q: How much does it weight empty?

The item is relatively light. Do not buy. This is a complete piece of junk. I bought two and the wheels fell off both suitcases on the first use. This is literally one of the worst products I have ever purchased on Amazon. ,

Q: Did your kid run into people or cause crashes in the airport?

My child wasn’t allowed to go faster than I could walk. There’s no reason for him to be far away from me in a crowded public place. So no, there was no bumping into people. Regulate their speed as the brakes aren’t reliable and the scooter does not turn
