when the vendor who runs your fiber is a total moron , you need this tool to properly trace fiber.. this little tool has saved my butt countless times and saved me hours of troubleshooting mislabeled patch panels .. Love it!

Good at what it does but not durable at all
For a telecom tech durability of tools is important ad our tools take a beating. This is not durable. It’s bright as hell though. Don’t matter how many connections or how many feet the line went. The fault lit up like Rudolph!I’m on my 5th one though :/

Despite the bad reviews decided to give it a try. Laser is super powerful. Good quality aluminum.

Not for Professional Use
This is a toy compared to real professional VFLs. If you’re just playing around with fiber optics at home, it might be fine, but in a professional environment, it is completely unreliable, the output power is too low to use...I regret buying it, and I will now invest in a reputable brand.

Shocikingly Good for the price
These are mandatory for anyone doing fiber optic work. the light performs as well as ones 10x the price and you don't feel as bad accidentally leaving it at site or having it drop into the raised floor.
