I am sure it works both in uk and in France
I have used this for my Jack Russell for a few years both in uk and in France where there are definitely more ticks. Never had a tick or flea so it must be working. I regard it as one of the safer options.

Spot on flea treatment
Does exactly what it says it does, shame it doesn’t last a bit longer. Would highly recommend. Best flea treatment I have used yet

Didn't really work.. shame
Easy to use and I really wanted this to wor, because I wanted to use spot on flea treatment and it had good reviews, but sadly no noticeable difference in scratching and it didn't appear to have been effective at all.
