I adore this game. I play it with almost everyone I know and the wolves and new characters adds a ton of variety to the game. I’m a huge fan of Morigan with the axe of carnage personally, so this expansion just brings it all together for me.

A great expansion that gives new enemy pieces and characters. This expansion gives four more player trays to increase the player count of the base game from 6 to 10. This includes four additional characters to play, and they each start with a different starting ability that will help vary the character choices for the base game. The enemies are wolves that ratchet-up the fear of drawing them at the end of each round. They are able to activate three times so they are an immediate threat. The expansion comes with a wolf abomination that follows these same rules. The game does not leave you out to dry as new magical weapons are include to make obtaining dragon fire easier. There are scenarios provided in the rule book, just like Black Plague, that use the new tower tiles that this expansion provides. It can be said that for a starting out Zombicide Black Plague buyer, it is not a necessity to be purchased immediately. If you want more characters or extra player trays you can buy the character expansion, it includes five characters and two trays. If you want more enemy variety, extra different tiles, and play with ten players then this expansion should be purchased. Anyone who has purchased Zombicide Black Plague, and has played enough of it to want more out of it then buy this expansion.

If you own Zombicide Black Plague, then you must own this expansion. It really expands upon the base game and increases variability/difficulty.You get plenty of new weapons and weapons that can kill abominations or wolfbominations.The new enemies (wolves) really turn up the threat level since they have 3 activations during the Zombie phase.We also appreciated the 4 new characters (nice additions).Unfortunately, we received ours with some pieces missing (wolves and character dashboards) and Amazon told us to just keep it and refunded us in full (Thank you Amazon).I would have liked to see more tiles included and more base quests, but like Black Plague, you can find more quests on the Zombicide website.It is a really fun franchise and overall, easy to learn.

If you are thinking of getting anything else for your Black Plague collection, i highly recommend Wulfsburg before anything else. It provides something that the base game desperately needs; more ways to get Dragonfire! This expansion comes with some new tiles for towers, and of course zombie wolves (more on those later), more adventures, and more equipment. This is what makes it worth it to me; there are magical weapons that can spark dragonfire if you have the bile. I can tell you, when an Abomination is on the board, and you are searching like crazy for bile and a torch, its maddening. Wulfsburg presents more ways to finally get that much needed Dragonfire, and when dealing with a wolf abomination, its a godsend. Now, the wolves. If you were disturbed by runners with 2 actions, wolves have three. Even worse, the Wolf Abomination also has three. So be ready when you take on a wolf mission. Finally, more heroes, my personal favorite is the dark elf. Overall, i would advise to get this before any special figures or extra tiles. If the struggle with Abominations is real for you, you will be glad you did.

This was an excellent purchase! If you enjoy Zombicide: Black Plague then the Wulfsburg expansion will make the game elevated to supreme levels of awesome entertainment.Wulfsburg brings some much needed variety to the base game in many ways. After playing a few rounds (mostly loosing a few rounds), I can confirm that it is a "Must have" for Z:BP fans.Highlights include:+ 4 really fun survivors (Morrigan and her Reaper combat skill is my favorite)+wolfz are a formidable challenge and the new Wolfabomination is SCARY!+The new items are so much fun to use! Vampire crossbow is too cool :)+The new terrain type is interesting and adds some new layers of strategyI've played quest #1 a few times and my group has had to rethink our normal strategies. We quickly learned that the wolfz are not just another zombie but powerful threats. The base Z:BP saw our survivors rarely take hits. However, the Wulfsburg expansion makes it difficult to keep our survivors alive.I love the quality of this game. The mini's, dashboards, hero design, enemy types, and exciting new weapons. Wulfsburg feels like it was meant to be in the core box. Do yourself a favor and buy this amazing expansion.VERDICT: BUY IT

If you want more Zombicide, this expansion brings some intresting sceeneries, as the towers and of course new party heroes to add to your collection. The Z-wolves enemies are not as detailed as I imagined, but in small packs they may also be included in other game boards as an extra surprise..

Zombicide Wulfburg took all the things you loved about ZBP and then introduced you to more!! This kickstarter-funded game really just took things to a whole new level… again! The game introduced new characters to play, with fun new abilities and items… all for the very low price of……… well the same price as the base game (ugh!)Wulfsburg is an amazing expansion, but the price tag – wow. It literally cost me the same price as its predecessor. I’m absolutely not impressed with that… But other than that, the game is amazing.The new items they introduced really took the game to the next level. You could tell that this expansion was planned out before the launch of ZPB because it didn’t change art style or elements within the game at all. And it simply added new features to an already established game.Again, like its predecessor, this game is simply superb for all the same reasons. It’s miniatures. It’s rules. It’s game pieces. It’s board. It’s replay value. All 10/10. This has quickly become our favorite game of the year.
