This battery works perfectly. My roomba is now running the way I need it to without dying. I have plenty of run time. I highly recommend getting this if you have been having charging problems with your current battery.

I installed this in mr Roomba 980. It gave a non genuine battery error before completing its first charge. I decided to try to vacuum anyway. I figured I would return the battery after it discharged. Roomba returned to the doc once the initial charge was depleted and began recharging. I decided to let it be and see what happens. Roomba successfully recharged and has had no further errors. It runs for about an 2 hrs and 30 minutes on a charge which is about an hour long than the OEM battery did when new. I got about 4 years out of the original battery time will tell how long this one will last but at 1/2 the price of the OEM battery I'm pretty happy so far.

Works great in my Roomba 690. Longest run so far was for 2 hrs 15 mins and still has battery remaining, about 1/4 according to the app. Just requires removing a few screws on this model to remove the cover plate and swap the battery.

Beware when buying this battery. It's cheap but it does not perform as advertised. I bought this battery in March 2024 to replace the OEM battery. Supposedly this battery has almost double the capacity of the OEM battery and the company says it will run for at least 2 hours. It seemed okay at first but by late July it was consistently running for only about 45 minutes before needing to be recharged. During that time, it cleaned only about a quarter of my first floor. I have my vacuum set to the lowest suction level, it's set to make a single pass and edge clean is turned off. I've tried reconditioning/reset procedures but they did not work. At this rate, I'm guessing it won't be long until the battery is completely dead. Next time I will probably just pay the extra and buy the OEM battery. At least it might hold its advertised capacity for longer.Update: Contacted the company to complain about the battery and their first response was to ask me to measure the battery voltage...no instructions on how to do that, just measure the voltage. I happened to have a mult-imeter so I measured, but seriously, how many customers just happen to have a device like that laying around? Once I told them the voltage, they offered either another battery or a refund. I chose the refund and they came back with a message saying a refund had been issued. Eighteen days later and I still see no evidence of a refund and the company has stopped responding to my messages. Buyer beware with 3rd rate Chinese companies like this.

This battery put new life into my Rhomba. Runs for little over a hour now. I tried another brand battery and a new base as I was only getting maybe 20 min of runtime. Should have gotten this one first.

The battery brought my Roomba 960 back to life and was much cheaper than the official iRobot battery. The installation pamphlet was curt and confusing about how to season the battery. So I'm still not sure I properly followed the instructions to protect its longevity. But it's working and adds a lot of zip to the Roomba.

This battery took my almost useless 960 roomba, and made it the cleaning machine it was meant to be. Brand new it would only run about 40 minutes before needing to charge. After installing this battery it can easily run for 2 hours straight, and I even seems more powerful with its actual vacuuming. Great buy!
