Not a lot of volume on high strings
Overall, nice strings but G-E strings (highs) don’t really match much in volume as the lows. Can’t say much about longevity as I just put them on.Update… these strings volumes evened out over a couple of days. Sounding good so far (30 days)

Plays and sounds great
I recently bought a used dreadnaught acoustic guitar and it needed new strings. It had a 12-52 set and they were a little rough on my fingers. I went with these Martin light gauge 10-47 Phosphor Bronze strings.I adjusted the truss rod and lowered the action on this guitar and with the new strings It plays like a million bucks. It's rare to find a light gauge string set with a wound G string. This set has a wound G which I prefer over a plain G string.Usually when you go with lighter gauge strings you sacrifice sound quality. That is NOT the case with these Martin light gauge strings. They sound amazing! Great depth and projection. I can't predict how long they will last. So far they have been on for a week with no problems. Broken strings are usually the fault of the guitar or the installation. Everybody thinks they know how to restring a guitar but only a few know how to do it properly. If you are breaking strings when you're installing them, then you're doing something wrong or have a problem with your guitar that needs to be corrected.

Not too heavy, not too light, but just right!
I have used medium strings for a long, long time for rich warm tone. Now that I am older and not as strong, I find that mediums have become difficult at times for bends and pull offs etc...These strings are right in between lights and mediums. They play easy and sound great!

Perfect for parlor size acoustic guitar
I like this phosphorus bronze a lot. Guitar is a little smaller parlor size, mahogany all around acoustic electric (passive/ no battery/ no knobs). I play with Behringer ACX 450 acoustic amp combo all the time and these MA 530 sounds the best. They sound great both plugged and unplugged. Nice warm balanced tone and easy on the fingers. Bronze strings are too bright and louder. Phosphorus bronze is just perfect. Lower volume if I play unplugged but if I need more volume I can always plug in.

Time will tell
So far so good, will take time to see how they wear in.

Details Pay Attention to Details
I ordered 2 sets of Extra Light MA530 Phosphor Bronze Martin Guitar Strings and they arrived today and it's likely I won't put these on my guitar for 2 maybe 3 weeks so I can't say anything about how they respond. What I can talk about is the poor attention to details. I ordered 2 sets of 10 to 47 sets and got 1 .10 to .47 and 1 .12 to .54 I'll keep the 12s and in the future if I buy strings online again I won't buy from The Martin Store again, I didn't get what I wanted and it's not worth the effort to send the 12s back.

Fine strings for fine guitars
The Martin extra light strings have a great sound and also prevent excess tension on saddle and bridge that your thicker gauge strings will cause. This will prevent the tension from strings causing saddle body underneath saddle to become convex in shape. Which in turn will make strings become further away from guitar fingerboard.

Not Slinky Enough For a Bending Playing Style (but OK for pure acoustic rhythm guitarist)
I thought I'd try these on my electro acoustic guitar based on the brand and relatively low price. My previous strings were D'Addario EXL110BT 10-46 's Nickel wound (admittedly Electric Strings - not acoustic). The Martins sound good to be fair, but not as forgiving on the fingers and they are awkward - not slinky in any way, despite the gauge. Quite a lot of fret slide squeak. They also hate being bent. Pressing chords is a lot harder than with D'Addarios. I gave longevity 4 stars but I don't think I'll keep them on my electro acoustic that long really. I might add that I'm a blues rock player and so play a lot of bends in my style. Perhaps if your'e just playing chords with strong fingers and are a purist for pure acoustic tone then these may suit you.

Great strings
I was really struggling with my old thicker strings especially to Barre chord so I switched to these 9s, the sound is hardly diminished but the playing is so much easier!

Bargain.
Not my usual brand but bought a couple of packs to try because of the price. So far OK but not stunning! Will see how long they last.

Good strings
I’m not an expert when it comes to acoustic strings but there is a definite difference between these and some of the cheaper options. Very articulate and they wear well (not within the first week or so like some others)
