Schlage Touch Camelot Lock with Accent Lever (Satin Nickel) FE695 CAM 619 ACC by Schlage Lock Company

Bought the dead bolt when it was the deal of the day or maybe it was the lightning deal. But anyway both items receive positive comments on the looks all the time if aesthetics are important to you as these to were installed on the front door . I also bought a Schlage FE595 PLY 619 ACC Plymouth keypad entry lock which went on the house garage door. The Camelot locks went on the front entry for several reasons (1) NO LOCK TO PICK (2) they are very nice to behold, unfortunately they are semi hidden behind a beautiful security door which does have keyed locks. Install very easy JUST READ ENTIRE DIRECTIONS FIRST !! Living in Phoenix AZ will see as to how the heat might affect them or the battery life, BUT the other Schlage (Plymouth) my company has installed for over a year now on several exterior doors and they work very well with 40 plus uses a day so I am hoping that the (Camelot) locks holds up as well. The Plymouth lock was cheaper but the Camelot it much more striking in everybody's opinion . Now I know the one question you have -it's a lock will it keep me safe?? As locks go yes...., BUT please remember the criminal WILL FIND and USE the Easiest way in (unlocked doors, windows, dogie doors, semi open exterior garage doors, several local home break ins were broken windows, and last but not least the very easy to open sliding patio door) These locks i bought all have an auto lock feature

Had no problems getting this installed in my front and back doors. It looks great, works reliably. Integrated with my home automation system and remote control works well. Also integrated with Echo Dot. Expect about a year on a set of four AA batteries.Best thing about it is the integration with the Samsung SmartThings hub. Using a custom app I can manage entry codes. Favorite use is a routine that runs every night checking to see if doors are locked. If not, the system locks the doors for me.

This lock works so well that I purchased 3 of them. I like the fact that it’s a keyless entry because with a key anyone can bump the lock & break in. It’s also pretty easy to install too.

To begin with I bought new lock with damaged box, no biggy can deal with that, but when it arrived and I opened the box it had missing level handle, since I was replacing a schlage lock that had the lever handle I said no biggy I'll just use the old lock lever, installed and working, within 1 weeks period the lock just didn't work anymore, it didn't lock the door, all parts seems intact, thought well maybe battery is low, replaced battery but still wouldn't lock. I called schlage tech support and stayed on hold for about 30 minutes no one picked up, I used google and y tube but couldn't find any support to help me understand why this lock just didn't work. At this point I spent enough time, time to return the lock. Thats what I get for buying a damaged box I guess.

Lock is of good quality. Has been in use for a few weeks now without issue. The light, when you press the Schlage button , illuminates the key pad well. Response time is good; that is there is no delay after correct code is entered, lock opens quickly enough that turning the handle will allow it to turn and not have to wait on the locking mechanism to release.Lock itself was very easy to install and instructions were easy to follow.I only wish that the PIN used could be more than 4 numbers. It's odd the master number has 6, put for unlocking the door is only 4 maximum.I do wish they also made this exact same lock but as a deadbolt version with extended face plates to cover the "2nd hole" in a door that would normally have deadbolt and handle seperate
