Lets me have more resolutions from headless Mac Mini
I’m using screen sharing to control an old G4 Mac Mini running Leopard from a modern Mac Studio. The G4 does not have a keyboard, mouse, or monitor attached. When you do this, you don’t see the desktop wallpaper on the sharing computer and you also are limited in resolution. This dummy DVI allows me to see the desktop on the remote machine and access many more screen resolutions than I could otherwise. Recommended.

Works perfectly for remote access to machine behind KVM. Windows was blacking out my screen through remote access when the KVM was active on a different machine. I was able to match this to my real monitor's native resolution and refresh rate, so the transition is seamless. Expected resolution and refresh rates were all listed by default, and was able to set a custom 2560x1440x8bit@88hz resolution through my GPU driver. This also supports 10bit color as well, even though that wasn't advertised.

Does the job it's supposed to do
Straight forward, easy to use, does it job so far... Hopefully it holds up. No complaints from me. 1080p 60hz without a problem at all

8k 30hz doesn't work
8k 30hz doesn't work. Even when I select from Device Manager. Max resolution is 5kx2160.

Pay attention to the wording….lol…dummy plug. I guess that’s why mine didn’t work
