Life Saver!
Zyrtec is a great allergy medicine, and a life saver for me. I have tried most of the prescription, and over the counter, allergy medicines over the years, and this one seems to work the best for me. I have had severe pollen and mold (among other things) allergies since I was a young kid. I have always had to take something year round for my allergies. Heck, I have been using allergy medication since Actifed was prescription only. I have tried Allegra, and it dried me out. It also made my nose bleed. I tried Claritin, and it worked for many years. Now, all of a sudden it has just stopped working. I guess my body built up a tolerance for Claritin over the years. My doctor gave me some samples of Clarinex to try, and it did nothing for me either. I talked to a pharmacist, and he said all Clarinex is, is a purified form of Claritin. They are pretty much the same medication. It was a good thing I found out ahead of time, as my insurance will not cover Clarinex, since Claritin is already available over the counter. So we move on....Doctor says try Zyrtec. Wow, What a difference! This stuff just works, and works well, for me anayway. Everyone's body reacts differently to different medications. So what works fo me may not work for everyone else. You will just have to try it and see for yourself. I am happy to say that I can breathe again. I also have no more scratchy throat or watery eyes on a daily basis. If things really get out of hand, I also have Nasonex to use in addition to Zyrtec, and it really helps. I don't like to take the Nasonex all the time though since it is a Steroid, and can cause some crazy things to go on in your body with prolonged use. The only side effect that I saw with Zyrtec was that it made me a little drowsy the first few times I took it. My doctor said that is normal with some people even though it is suppose to be a "non-drowsy" allergy medication. My body seems to have adjusted though, because now I do not notice the drowsy effect at all. I take my allergy medication at night anyway (as everyone should), so that is really not a issue. I am just glad Amazon carries Zyrtec, and its generic forms, so cheap. It is almost $1 a pill to buy it in the store. It would be cheaper for me to purchase Zyrtec if it were still prescription only, at that rate. Now that I have found a good allergy medication, and a place to purchase it cheaply, it has made a world of difference. I would recommend Zyrtec for anyone to try, but just remember, the same medication is not going to work for everyone, or cause the same side effects in everyone. I just know I am going to have a great summer, now that I can breathe again!

Truly wonderful!
I was so excited when this stuff went over-the-counter (OTC) since it became incredibly cheap and still works wonderfully. These 45-count bottles on Amazon are the best value that I could find.Zyrtec is the best OTC allergy relief medicine that I've been able to find. I tried Claritin and Alavert (which both use loratadine) and found that they both did nothing to relieve my allergy symptoms. My nose would be stuffed up and I'd have headaches throughout the day. For me, it was as if I had taken nothing and received a lighter wallet. Other people swear by Claritin and/or Alavert so it appears to be a highly personal situation. Zyrtec makes me feel normal again. While Zyrtec is not advertised as non-drowsy and some people have reported becoming drowsy after taking it. I can say that this does not happen for me at all. I take one when I wake up in the morning and have never felt even slightly drowsy from taking Zyrtec. Again, this is also going to vary person-to-person.

Peace Of Mind
4 Stars instesd of 5 because shipment contained pills with different countries of origin and expiration dates.Service was very fast- shipped within 48 hours via USPS. I ordered two 45-count 10 mg tablets. One bottle has an expiration date of 03/10 and is made in the USA, the other bottle has an expiration date of 11/10 and is made in Belgium. It is therefore probable that future shipments from BUYBELOWSALE may be contain Zyrtec tablets manufactured outside the USA.On a related issue: When I switched from Zyrtec to its generic version (Cetirizine HCl) which is now available practically everywhere, ranging in price between 4 cents per pill (at Big Lots) and 60 cents per pill (at Rite Aid, Longs/CVS, Walgreens, etc.), the benefits of the drug seemed to be much less. The generic is supposed to have the same active ingredient(s) as the brand name, but the quality control in the manufacturing may be very different.Whereas Zyrtec names the country of origin on the outside package, the generics often don't (they only name the Distributor, such as "Distributed by CVS Pharmacy, Inc., Woonsocket, RI 02898") and one has to open the packaging and read the very fine prints on the bottle to find out (in the CVS version) that it's made in India. On closer inspection, the tablets from CVS and from Big Lots are exactly the same, the only difference is that CVS charges you 15 times more! Apparently there is a huge Cetirizine HCl plant in India that's supplying the US market. Heaven forbid if this Indian plant gets its chemicals from China, then one may be ingesting adulterated pills contaminated with anti-freeze, dioxin, lead, ............... Doubt is not a very good thing to have when taking a medicine. For less than 50 cents a day, I'm going for the peace of mind.

Good product
Has yet to fail me as a product. Keeps my hives, which comes up randomly and quite severe at bay - couldn't tell I had allergies at all. However, I really wish the price stayed static. It's jumped up and down between all my orders and it's very discerning since the generic versions do not have this problem. Would easily 5 star if it weren't for the price discrepancies.Oh, and Benadryl doesn't work at all for my hives. It's either this or nothing. Very grateful I can function without the fear and irritation of an outbreak. If anyone has a suggestion on the effectiveness of another product for such please advise me, would really like to try it.Edit[5/11]:Coincidently, the price of the 70 Pack has been lowered to what was the 45 Pack since I last bought. I am now quite the Happy Camper! Thank you Amazon and Co!
