Solid and dependable MAP Torch
Quality metal construction, lights first pull of the trigger and feels like it will last many years. It may be a bit more than others cost wise but it's totally worth it!

Not a brazing gas torch
Gas not hot enough to braze with.

Good but it is no Rothernberger
Good item, feels a bit cheap in the hand but good ergonomics but please do not mistake this for a Rothernberger Superfire 2. So I did a comparison with the Superfire 2 and the flame on this does not roar like the Superfire 2, way more gas flow and its power all the way.However this is a perfectly acceptable unit for soldering and at a very reasonable price for the quality and function. The cool tip isn't cool at all not matter what you are doing with the unit, low , half or full flame it will still melt the skin off your hand. You can get plenty of control and flame isn't too wide for more detailed jobs. It s a good unit and does the job , for me who doesn't do much soldering it is perfect but the advertising for the cool tip is wrong.
