Get it? Because it shocks you?I used this to make an electrostatic precipitator, but in the process I also made a lot of arcs and coronas. I can verify that it's definitely making negative ions (and ozone) and it does so without getting hot or anything. It can be safely powered from a lithium ion pack and a 12V buck converter.

The resin it was potted in was all sticky and gooey, and it burned out after 5 minutes of use. Seller should specify that it's not meant for continuous function. Either that or maybe it's not meant to run at 12 volts. The packaging didn't specify 12 volts only the product listing did. I didn't try 5 volts to see if it would work but if you get this module try it at 5 volts first and see if that's good enough.

Works but is a little weak

Power goes to small wires and high voltage comes out big wires.I had the big wires hanging on my leg when I plugged it in and I can now say with all certainty that it does indeed work. Going to have a lot of fun with this.I recommend this product.

Works great and powers the stuff I would expect it to, and the voltage is even adjustable!However the factory insulation on the high voltage wires is inadequate and will short to ground, so insulate it with at least three layers of electrical tape.Other than that its awesome and works as advertised.

Measured the output of this to be only 2kv. Buyer beware.
