Would this hold the fives Klipsch speakers "18.5 x 17.5 x 13.5 inches 28.9 pounds?

They will handle the weight but I've no idea about your speakers balancing on the platforms. My S2000Pros are rock solid on these stands.

Will it fit my edifier r1280t powered bookshelf speakers?

I have klipsch RP-160m and they work great. If they are close in size these would be a good choice
