Does this foam when sprayed on?

In answer to your question about Lundmark Wax Coil Cleaner...no it does not foam when sprayed on.

Do you need to remove the window unit to clean the inside portion?

I would say you would have to because it would probably make a mess in your house if you didn't. This cleaner worked well for my unit but it is all outside. I sprayed it down and let it set for a bit and then washed it out with a water hose.

Will this work on auto coils as well?

Worked perfectly on my 2006 4Runner. Cooling temp before usage was 62 degrees and after cleaning AC was pumping out a cool 49 degrees on a 89 degree day.
