We've only used this electric blanket twice but we are delighted with the result. It heats up very quickly if you initially set it to 6 before getting into bed & you can then turn it down to a lower number if so desired. It seems to have a default timer setting of 1 hour before it goes into standby mode, but that is an ideal amount of time while we read our books. Of course, the timer can be adjusted.Unlike most electric blankets, this one covers the whole bed ( we have a double ). As well as our regular mattress, we have a mattress topper, but this doesn't stop the blanket from being fitted with the straps provided, they were able to accommodate the extra height.Something I should point out as it isn't made clear in the description or the pictures for the product is that the two remote controls both have plugs on them, they do not work with batteries & can't be charged, so you will need two mains sockets to plug them into.Overall, this is a great electric blanket that is nice & soft due to the fleece lining & will keep you warm & toasty at bedtime.

Well impressed with the fleecy finish, it makes the bed feel all 'snuggly'! The elastic fixing straps at each corner made fitting quick and easy. The controller is clear and easy to understand. When you first turn it on it comes on at heat number 6 and for a timed 1 hour.I got this not only for the colder nights, but also to help with lower back pain, the past two nights I have put it on for only about 15 mins before bedtime and the bed was warm and cosy and certainly has helped alleviate my back pain (admittedly I also put it on number 3 for about 10 mins in the morning just before getting up).One negative is that the very end of the blanket is not heated, so if you are tall or sleep low in the bed your tootsies won't be nice and warm (that said the very edges aren't either!)Overall, very pleased and pleased with my purchase.

Purchased this at the tail end of last year and it’s been one of the best purchases I have ever made, I only wish I had bought one years ago. It’s not until you have tried an electric underblanket that you realise *just how cold* your bed is when you get into it without one. I bought a single electric underblanket for our king size bed (OH feels he doesn’t need one) and it lays perfectly on my half of the bed. It’s very well made, fleecy soft to sleep on and thicker than I was expecting for an electric underblanket, plus it doesn’t slide about on the mattress either.The controls are digital, with two buttons - heat temperature and a preset timer for 1,3 and 9 hours. When you power up the blanket, the LED temperature lights flash up in a clockwise direction a few times in order to make sure the blanket is safe to use.I find it can take around 5 mins or so at max temperature for the blanket to fully warm up, so I preheat my bed and have a shower/ bath beforehand. By the time I’m ready for bed, it’s toasty warm, it’s like heaven! I will leave it on maximum temp for around an hour then drop to a cooler temperature for a few more hours before it switches off. Delightful!Best purchase in a very long time.

Double size fitted my king size mattress perfectly, so make sure you measure the mattress and note the blanket size (king size was 8cm too long - not much but it would have bent over the edge of the mattress). There is a 5 minute heat up. It just takes the chill off and lost a point for this. You can sleep on it all night between 1-3 setting. I tried all 3. I prefer level 2 for one hour (option for 1,3 9 hours) this warms the fleece cover on one side to heat up and retain the heat for the rest of the night with the blanket switched off. Good brand, expensive but really worth it.

This is a great length goes virtually from top to bottom of bed. I purchased a single for a king sized bed as my husband does not like to be to warm in bed it fits beautifully just for me because it’s a good size it goes half way so no lumps or bumps for either of us. The performance is great takes no time to heat up the control is easy to use. Also very durable with a lovely appearance. My mother thought it was fantastic when she came to visit I put it on her bed she loved it. So I bought another one as a gift for her.

Dreamland Double Size Hunker Down Scandi Sherpa Electric Underblanket may seem a little expensive compared with other electric blankets.However the softness and the warmth it generates prior to getting into bed is the best joint present we have given ourselves in the last year.The double size truly fits our double bed mattress and the corner tapes have been holding it secure to the mattress without movement.The fleece pile is so nice to settle our old bones into it seems like our old mattress has been rejuvenated.If it was not so great to go to bed on, then I might have given the blanket a 4 star, only because the intelliheat controller does not remember its last setting which earlier controllers did. Still just setting it at the time and heating level required is quick and easy.Yet to see how it will was in the spring but would buy another without hesitation.

It just only delayed one day arrived.But is all worth it.I had used this a week now.-This blanket size(singer bed) perfect with my bed ,it's cover head to the toe.-The control got 3 section of time and 6 levels of the heat,is good enough for you to use-I feel warmth enough with the temperature,if u preheat before 15 minutes you go to bed and cover with duvet- and last but not the least ,the texture is thick ,they put the quality on it .and it's comfy(remember put it under the bed sheet)I do a lot of research which brand I wanna buy.look a lot of research.You rather not spend on the cheap one.Cause it might make u disappointed.But when I received this one,the price and the quality,you really get it what you paid.Can't guarantee is the best on the market.but at least is above average (I think)
