Is this ink waterproof?

Practically all Ball Point pen ink is water proof, for accidental liquids. If you blot it up expeditiously, you should be fine. If your plan is to soak the paper in water to test the ink, well good luck. If you want to take notes during your scuba class find a different instrument.

Where can you find replacement erasers for this?

You should look for it on Amazon with the keyword "Jetstream replacement ink or eraser".

Where can you get refills for this? I can find 0.5mm, but not the 0.38mm.

How do you get the lead to come out?

The metal "clip" (for lack of a better word) is actually for the pencil lead. I found that out by accident.
