Q: Can the Tilt mechanism tension be adjusted? I see a comment that it became loose, would not stay at 90 degrees, and could not be tightened.

The mount ships with an alan wrench to adjust the tilt tightness. It's a collar that goes around a (approx) 1" center shaft. You'll need to make it crazy tight to hold up any reasonably heavy monitor. I have a 10" that weighs very little.

Q: How does one unfold it? Do you just pull as hard as possible or is there a release?

Just pull it hard - in a short time meaning a few days mine loosened and can't be tightened so now the tv hangs so the screen is sloped to the counter making it hard to watch.

Q: where are the caps that you can take off to tightened so it doesn't tilt back as mentioned in one anwser?

At the very top where it swivel. Round plastic cap on both sides.

Q: The bold description says 90 degree fold but the detailed description says 110 degree . Which is it? Thanks

It goes very slightly past 90 degrees. Maybe 95, tops. There's a non-negotiable hard-stop that keeps it from going further. If you want it to go farther, you could experiment with washers tilting the back of the mount
