I was looking for a book to brush up on my calculus. To get me back up to end-of-high-school/start-of-university-level. As a preparation to begin on a more advanced text book suitable for a MS level. This book met that requirement nicely.The problem work-throughs are good, with the required theory is spread out through the book as needed. The correct answer to problem #27 is 9x^2 + 4xGood value. Recommended.One star taken for error in solutions

Synthetic practical and useful but with some typos

A great book! Exactly what I was hoping for! Except that about half-way into the book, the printing is missing in the middle of every page. I can't find a way to contact the printer to get a replacement ... will ask Amazon to help me next.
