Doesn't come with mounting screws
It fits the front bay of my T7810 perfectly, as intended, and even has the HDD fan mounted already, BUT it did not come with screws to secure it to the case. Those will have to be bought separately. You'll also need a SATA cable because, although the workstation's power cable to the front bay has enough ends for 2 components, it doesn't have a spare SATA cable just lying around in there.EDIT: Updating to add my realization that the stock front panel that the front panel packaged with this replaces on your case setup has 4 hard drive mounting screws nestled safely inside just waiting for the user to need them. My bad for not looking harder. Thanks, Dell.

It worked
This drive caddy worked flawlessly in my Dell Precision 5820.

Fits the T7820
I wanted the 3.5 spinning disk to be housed in the 5.25 internal bay. The documents aren't really clear if this is the right part number or not to fit the T7820. It is and this works as it is supposed to. Be a bit careful pushing it in to not pinch the wires in the back as it takes a bit of force to lock it into place otherwise its an easy install.

It totally works with what I was using it for.

Cage was fine. Fan had high pitch 'whine'
The cage was a perfect fit for my hard drive and the T5600 Dell Workstation. The only problem was that the fan made a high pitch whine. Not typical fan noise, but a raspy tone. I'll have to replace it.

The mounting screws are already in your Dell they are mounted on the back of the plate you take out.
I did not know this was available for my T3610. I put a 4TB HD in that bay next to the CD using a 3.5" generic adapter. It worked fine but my drives were running a bit hot 40-45C.I put this in and hooked up the fan to the header and wow it dropped by drives 8c, yes all of them even the 3TB on the bottom. Now they all run around 35c much better than 39-44c.Watch this video to give you an idea on how it installs. I found it easiest to lay PC on side and put bracket outside near TOP of the PC in order to reach the fan header and get the ram chip cover back on. You have to have it outside of the case to plug it in and also put the ram shroud back on.And it does not include screws so I used my own. But after I pulled the front plate off I see the Dell has the 4 needed screws already screwed into the backside of the front plastic plate you swap out. So you already have the screws just are hidden.
