Good product. No complaints. Size runs small!
One would need laboratory equipment to accurately verify the db rating. That said, they are "good" ear protection.I use them when operating loud power equipment and at the gun range. No complaints: they are decent; comfortable.NOTE: If you are an adult and have an "average size" head you NEED the "Extra Large" size.I don't understand the posts about them breaking easily. It would appear to me they are as well made/designed as all others in this general price range for a Consumer retail product. With common sense treatment, they should last a long time. They are made of Plastic.... not stainless steel! If you need a more durable unit, you should be shopping for Mil Spec or SWAT quality items!

Comfortable ear protection
I got these to use at work. Ear plugs were causing problems for me and the ENT recommended muff style ear protection. These are very comfortable and protect my hearing better than plugs. I decided to buy my own instead of getting the company issued. Glad I did! This are great

Great protection!
I went thru three pairs of muffs that were notthe passive kind and felt my ears were at risk / these are much better- my ears don't ring anymore after leaving the range.

Good but not perfect; also, you may need the XL
The system for making the headpiece longer so that the cups reach your ears isn't ideal. The regular size is somewhat small/short; at full extension it is just about right for my head (I'm 5'3" with a proportionate head!) and nowhere near long enough to reach my husband's ears, so he needed an XL. Otherwise, they reduce sound as expected, and the colors are nice. They're a bit finickier to adjust due to the design.

There is no better for the price
Absolute best hearing protection for excessive decibel noise elimination. Absolute must for chainsaws, zero turns, drills, compressors, anything that produces any noise that can damage your hearing. THE BEST PART, it even reduces the unacceptable kitchen/dishes/eating noises and verbal noises my wife makes.

Nice for price
Works great! Use mowing lawn with blue tooth hearing aids streaming music. Really reduced lawn mower noise. Seems good quality for price. One nock would be limited adjustments. Ok for me with a ball cap

Great ear protection for the range
The headset is great for the range and it muffles the shots being fired by people that next y to you very well. Definitely worth the money

Way too tight! Not very adjustable...
These will squeeze your brains out! They don't adjust very well, nor very much. If you have a "large" head, these aren't for you. They do block out noise nicely, but I wonder if that's because they are effective or because I was focusing on the pain they caused. I am currently trying to stretch them out; I put a box between them a little wider than my head. Hopefully they will adjust. But if you don't have the clean shaven head of a small child...OUCH!
