Nothin' But Hits B****, Nothin' But Hits!!!
The Dwarves are indeed born again with this album! It has been just too long since the world was graced with an amazing album by the Dwarves (7 long years), and they do not disappoint with this album! The Dwarves prove once again that they truly are one of the very best punk rock bands of all-time! And that there is actually some truth to Blag Dahlia's constant reference to himself and the Dwarves as rock legends! The album's sound is definitely more like Come Clean and The Dwarves Must Die as you would probably expect, and at times to Young and Good Looking! But there are some really good hardcore punk songs on here as well like Stop Me, We Only Came to Get High, It's a Wonderful Life of Sin and Futyd. 15 Minutes, lyrically sounds like it is directed at that fairy Justin Bieber or Lady Gage or some other trash musician, and musically is played in stops and starts and has a lot of sound effects, cool short song! The Dwarves Are the Best Band Ever opens the album brilliantly, and is just a punk classic about the Dwarves favorite subject matters (sex and drugs obviously)! Looking Out For Number One is definitely one of my favorite songs on the album, it is very catchy and insanely melodic, and is brilliantly sung by Blag! Happy Birthday Suicide and Working Class Hole are kind of along Looking Out for Number Ones sound, in that they are also very catchy and melodic songs! The only bad song in my opinion is Do the HeWhoCannotBeNamed, and Zip Zero is kind of lame as well! Both songs are kind of gimmicky and weird musically, but every other song is truly great!Rex Everything takes over vocal duties or at least shares vocal duties with Blag on 3 or 4 songs as well, which sounds really cool! Your Girls Mom is one of the songs with shared vocal duties, and musically it sounds like a modernized Ramones, very cool! Candy Now is a bluesy rock song, something like You Gotta Burn from Young and Good Looking, and is also cool! There are no rap songs either like on Must Die, which most people will like to hear I think! I would definitely say this album is most like Come Clean and is probably the Dwarves best album since Young and Good Looking due to the fact that Come Clean was a lot shorter than this album. Also the bonus DVD is an amazing value and contains a tremendous amount of content, this package could easily have been worth $30 or more, so the price is really great for getting both! The DVD contains tons of old concert footage from all era's of the Dwarves, yes even stuff off of the Free Cocaine Compilation (Lucifer's Crank E.P., Toolin' For A Warm Teabag E.P., etc.) and Horror Stories, and of course stuff from the Sub Pop and Epitaph Eras! The DVD also contains a hilarious 10 minute interview with the band (HeWho, Vadge Moore, and Blag in this particular interview). There is a bunch of the bands music videos also from all eras, as well as awesome concert footage of fights between the band and crowd members, hot naked girls on stage, and of course HeWho is often naked! The DVD was just amazing to be honest, and the album is as well, so this is just a must have for Dwarves fans and general fans of good punk rock, and even rock in general! Pick this **** up, you won't be disappointed!

Nothing but hits
Dwarves are one of those bands that were tailor made for me. Their style, musicality, and brevity are the perfect catalyst. "Born Again" is an album I almost never expected to come out after "Must Die", it was released around the time when Dimebag Darrel of Pantera met an ill fate so there was already plenty to be cynical about. Already an avid fan of the Dwarves, when this album released I was completely floored. Debauchery ensues in full force here. One of my all time favorite albums. I'll be rocking this when I'm old and dying.

Recognize The Dwarves, Slut!
The Dwarves are back and better than ever on "Born Again"...Mixing the old school punk rock that The Dwarves are known for, a little techno, some blues and a splash of getting high and having sex with sluts makes this the best album The Dwarves have released since "Young and Good Looking"...DVD bonus content is excellent - a ton of videos for older songs, 'We Must Have Blood' fight scenes, naked girls (and a naked hewhocannotbenamed), plus side projects like Rex Everything's (Nick Oliveria) Mondo Generator, Earl Lee Grace (Blag's bluegrass), and more!!! If you are new to the Dwarves you should probably order their two legendary albums - "Blood, Guts and Pussy" and "Thank Haven For Little Girls" after you get this album...As usual, The Dwarves don't dissapoint and they are, in fact, THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!

My Favorite Dwarves Album (but I only have 4 of them)
Of the Dwarves albums I have I like this one the best overall. A bit polished for them but I find it easier to laugh at (with) stuff that I can decipher without having to check what the lyrics are. Dwarves Rock and are almost always entertaining. May not be for the slightly more difficult to offend. Avoid if you are easily offended and do yourself a favor -- stop reading reviews of bands of this ilk. Love that it's available on vinyl. PS The DVD is almost worth the price of the album alone.

Another classic for ya
Blag and the Dwarves have done it again. This is the first new record from the legendary punkers since 2004's "Must Die." And let me tell you, it was worth the wait. Every track is a treat- No duds or fillers here. The band lays down hardcore punk, pop punk, even a 50's-esque rocker. Legendary member Rex Everything (Nick Oliveri) is on bass, and also on vocals on several tracks. Former longtime drummer Vadge Moore also makes a cameo. As always, these songs aren't for the easily offended, and the subject matter is not for the kids. But if you require quality of your music and you like to rock, this is your album. Get it now!
