Yes it does include the motor. Good that you have your own motor as theirs is worth nothing. Got one and is now just decoration as it does not keep time at all.

Q: Is it avalable without plastic housing?

Yes then you need the T104M,mechanism only.

Q: I have a 30 year old model with a shot motor and a nasty metal enclosure....is this enclosure any more water tight than the old ones?

Probably. The current models have an inner lip that seats inside the door, which makes an adequate seal. Congrats on getting 30 years' service, BTW.
