Still inflated after 28 months. Never refilled. Superb teaching tool.
After two years, still hold original inflation. It is used to point out countries. Some rough rides, but generally just rolled around the house. We forbid ball throwing indoors.Follow up report: We purchased this in June 2016 for our first grandchild. The air was retained superbly. December 2019, we now have six grand children. It is finally leaking very slowly, not flat but just soft. This is an amazing product able to endure the activity of my youngsters.

better than expected
This has lasted longer than I expected! It gets abused as the kiddos use it for volleyball as well as studying. It has proven accurate for the areas that we have had to look up. What I really like is the ability to get an overall feel for the amount of ocean since the water portions are clear.

Here's a fun way to brush up on geography.
Okay, I admit it. I bought this for myself. The quality of it is the same as any other beach ball. It arrived pretty quickly, in great condition also with a repair patch just in case. It was bigger than I thought it would be & a little difficult to inflate, as the valve is one that doesn't allow air to move too freely through it; you have to pinch or bite it (which is what I did) to blow it up. Overall, I'm happy with it. And so is my 8 year old daughter.

A great tool for toddlers!
My three year old and five year old sons love to play with the ball and learn geography in a fun way too. Whenever we read a story about a different country, a continent or anything that pertains to a place on our planet, I turn to this ball to point out the place from the story! My little boys' eyes just love to do that and can study this play globe for hours at times too. It is plenty accurate for little ones and it is fun too because... well it is a beach ball essentially!

Beware - this item cannot be returned
Ours popped on the 2nd day we had it. I don't think we were playing with it too hard. I started to initiate a return and Amazon said this item is not eligible for returns. I've never had that with Amazon before and I looked back on this page and don't see where it notifies potential buyers.It seemed like a sturdy enough product and we enjoyed checking out the countries before it popped.

Hole in Balloon making the world FLAT!
The balloon has a slow leek hole. It will not stay inflated and can’t find the hole. I took it to the office and within two hours of blowing it up it looks lumpy. Very disappointed as I was trying toImpress my coworkers with it. Very disappointed and no return policy!?!?!?

Great alternative to a stationary globe
Excellent way to learn geography and have a two in one device. Globe and a ball to throw around. Need to store it? Just deflate it! Good colors and my son loves it
