Wow! This lamp has changed my crafting so much, I absolutely love it. I have a daylight lamp and it is fantastic but it is small and not very tall, it also couldn't move around much, so most of the time it casted a shadow over my project which then stopped me from working as I could no longer see. Now, this new lamp is clamped to the side of my desk, and covers my whole desk area in light and no matter where the light source is in my room I can now move this lamp to wherever I need it, and continue crafting till I'm finished. It's so easy to set up and use, the slightest touch can switch it on or off and change the lighting strength and type, again perfect when working with colour and also has helped with my eyes as they ached before working with bad lighting. I would definitely recommend this to all crafters, and for anyone who works at a desk and needs good lighting for this price, it's a must have. This is an amazing lamp.

This is perfect for my piano and my work desk & now yet another for my wife's hobby desk. I've had other good ones, but this is in another league. They look and feel good, and quality is impeccable. All three being white means they blend nicely into the background. The features are very simple to negotiate, but give a wide range of colour temperature and brightness. I don't have a use for the timer function and haven't tried that. If I needed a fourth one, this is what I'd buy! As with all gooseneck (flexible) arms, bend it, but don't twist it. As the light at the end doesn't twist, I find the easiest way to have the light shining in the right direction is to straighten the whole thing to the vertical, then bend it to suit your needs. Remember that you can twist it at the base, but it may be a bit stiff. For long life, never strain the flexible arm. Just one extra word ...... BRILLIANT!

This is well worth the price. The bracket that secures the lamp to the desk is small and discreet, but strong. Way better than bulky cheaper alternatives that stick out a long way. The neck is really flexible and long. You can position this in all kinds of angles and loops and it just stays where you want it to. I use it for switching between office work, painting miniatures and airbrushing, so I move it around a fair bit. The light is perfect for different uses and can be varied. I don't vary it though, the maximum setting gives a nice daylight bright effect. It looks and feels premium also so looks nice on the desk. It is mains operated with a touch panel for controls. The control button combinations aren't obvious (although on and off is), but the lamp comes with a small black sticker with them printed on. I've stuck it inside a nearby cupboard. You could stick it on the lamp but it would not look great. I don't write many reviews but I was so impressed with this I thought I'd share feedback.

I am very pleased that it is high enough to be above the big screen. The light diffuses nicely on the desk, so easier on eyes and better for camera. Seems sturdy and very easy to pop on. The controls are easy and straightforward. Hope it survives for long..

I bought this light to replace a 6 year old £300 Dyson desk lamp which had failed due to a ribbon cable which had become faulty & which neither Dyson or the original cable manufacture make / supply any more.The Dyson was great until the fault - but now it an expensive collection of well engineered quality parts that's unusable due to unavailability of the cheapest part!This was the only light which had nothing but 5 star reviews - I've only had the light a day but assuming it lasts for at least a couple of years I have to give it 5 stars. The design has been well thought through, it is easily bright enough for any type of work I do and the buttons give the ability to create a wide range of alternative light modes.Great product at a great price - good visibility to work is critical for me so I invested a lot of time searching and read lots of reviews, this was definitely the best I could find, even comparing with other products several times the price.

Update:I received the white lamp with the old two buttons, the seller quickly arranged a replacement but unfortunately it was still the two button model.It’s not the end of the world though as it’s still a great lamp.My desk is currently in a corner which can be quite dark on grey days and going into the winter, it’s also crowded and lacks the space for a regular lamp.As this one clamps to the desk it takes up barely any space and looks very sleek. It’s easy to adjust the position and it angles nicely to sit above a 34inch monitor. Being able to adjust the colour temperature and brightness makes it easy to use it comfortably at any time of the day. The only downside is the two button controls are not intuitive but you do get used to them.
