Perfect!!
This food processor is gorgeous and very useful . I gave it to my husband for Father’s Day. He loves the look and the quality. He said the ease of operation was great. It will help in his cooking abilities, especially when he makes dough. The size is very impressive. We expected it to be super large, but it is the size of most large food processors. Plus the copper color was perfect.

Cuisinart 7 Cup Food Processor, 600-Watt Motor, White, DLC-10SYP1
Cuisinart 7 Cup Food Processor, 600-Watt Motor, White, DLC-10SYP1OMG That is my second one . I used my other one so much That the switch even wore out. I but blocks of cheese & grate the so quick, chops celery & shredded carrots & mixes my chicken salad fast. I use this for anything you would use a small chopper or blender for. My Must have.

Seems like a new one
This was listed as used, it seems completely new except it was in a plain cardboard box instead of the Cuisinart manufacturer’s packing. All the accessories of the same new 11 cup model I bought previously were included. I was trying to replace the bowl and lid alone but the price was prohibitive. I found this completely new, exact same Cuisinart processor for less than the price of the replacement parts. I am keeping the base of the other in case this one breaks down. I’m hoping it lasts, l shall see.

Required #0 Strip Pad on Lid Rim
Required using #0 equivalent 3M green stripping pad for removing grime from the lid rim, for much easier capping and sealing of the lid. Afterwards, the lid very easily caps, slides and seals! Not sure if the grime or unfinished lid rim is due to manufacturing, or improper refurbishing of parts. My first purchase was obviously an improperly refurbished unit, the second appeared new within original packaging.

Needed more DIRECTIONS to assemble.
This is a great product. It works fine, so far. I ordered it on Amazon resale. And it came in its original box. I am a first time user.I wish the video or book would show you exactly how to put on the bowl onto the base and how to put the top on the bowl correctly in order to activate the motor to work. I was completely putting the top bowl on backwards, which I thought was strange and it did not fit, however, an engineer friend came over and after 5-10 minutes of trying this and that, showed me what I needed to do, after he figured it out. I do not think the instructions for a first time user are very good for using this great food processor. Now I’m not sure how to put on the cutting blade as it does not have the white fitting on it, like the shredding blade does. Can anyone tell me how that attaches? It seems like I just need more detailed instructions. Maybe somebody else had the same problem. I would have given it five stars if the direction manual had specific directions.UPDATE: After many hours of viewing videos online to decide how to get my slicing blade on I finally called cuisinart.com, and spoke with a service representative who told me that slicer that was sent in my box from Amazon resale was for a 10 cup food processor and would not work on my 14 cup food processor. I don’t know how Amazon can send out a package with the wrong item in it??? Now Amazon wants me to send the whole unit back but I got it for $209 at the resale shop so I’m keeping it because everything else works right. So I ordered a new 4 mm slicing blade, a 2 mm slicing blade and a storage box for keeping the blades in from Cuisinart. So beware and carefully check anything if you buy it from the Amazon resale shop, keep your box, until you’re sure everything works, so if it doesn’t, you can send it back.

An excellent smaller unit at a lower price
We downgraded from a 14-cup model after its bowl wore out. This 11-cup version is less powerful and less sturdy but comes with all of the blades most people want, at a much lower price. Of course, its liquid capacity is lower: making 2 cups of salsa works but 3 cups are too much. Its motor is adequate but not as fast as the bigger model. On the plus side, it's a bit smaller and easier to store, comes with three slicing disks and a chopping blade, a spatula plus an additional lid for when you are only chopping (not using a feed tube). Overall, it's hard to beat this entire package, unless you must have that bigger, stronger, sturdier but significantly higher cost 14-cup model.

So much power
Huge upgrade from the 4 cup version. Wish i had bought this years ago. So powerful. Amazing! And great with small amounts too

More Power!!!
Turning this monster on, holy cow! No wonder the base is so heavy! I could almost hear Tim Allen yelling "More Power" and then hooting. I just got it, cleaned it and set it up. Wow, it is quiet! But when you see that blade wizzing around, woooohoooo, watch out!
