I love the aroma and flavor that anise adds to a dish. I use quite a bit in baking biscotti and pfefferneuse, but it's also a great addition to lots of savory dishes. This one has a beautiful fresh ground flavor and the aroma is amazing. This is a large amount for the home cook to keep on hand, but if you love the fragrance of anise and use it often, this is a bargain I would recommend you take advantage of. You can thank me later.

Bought this for myself for tea to try making capsules for hot flashes and, tbh, to try giving a tiny pinch to my dog as Anise Seed is said to act like Catnip for dogs. Some go nuts, some mellow out - like cats. Seems to work on her too, or at least she seems to really like it, though I've only given her the teeniest bit (like one wet finger tip smeared on a snack) per the online instructions I found.
