I have used these for my dog walks, in the winter, for several years. They work well on icy streets & driveways. They do need replaced every couple of years when a wire comes loose from wear & tear.Highly recommended.

Wore these all winter last year (winter 2024-2025) and didn’t fall once. I walk to and from work on poorly maintained footpaths in nonslip shoes (for my kitchen job), and nonslip shoes are EXTRA slippery on ice. These had great grip on both smooth ice and rough ice. They fit well, and the bag they came with was nice for keeping them from getting my stuff wet when not in use. Quality seems solid, no noticeable issues and they kept us safe over the icy winter. I’ve fallen at least once every winter but with these I didn’t at all. We were extra worried during pregnancy with my son so we got an extra pair and these helped keep him safe too. Worth the price.

I purchased these crampons for hiking, and unfortunately, they completely failed during my first use. Specifically:- One crampon began breaking as I was initially putting them on- I continued with the hike using the partially broken one because I thought it was better than none- Halfway through a 5-hour hike, the second crampon also broke- Total hiking time: approximately 2.5 hours before complete failureThe product's durability is extremely poor and potentially dangerous. Reliable traction is critical for safe hiking, especially in challenging terrain. These crampons did not meet even basic expectations for outdoor gear reliability.Not recommended for serious hikers or anyone seeking dependable foot traction. Save your money and invest in a more robust product.Would not purchase again. One-star rating due to complete product failure

It's a snug fit around your boots/shoes so make sure you have some thick boots. Configuring the included velcro strap took a litle figuring out at first, but worked fine. The included pouch is great for storage after use since these will become dirty and wet. These are NOT meant for hardcore ice climbing, just for moderate hiking in icy conditions. You can still slip a little, but it is far better than with nothing but your shoes. Make sure you have somewhere to sit while putting them on or taking them off.

I’m an EMT, wore these for the first time last night on a call. While lifting a heavy patient up a snowy/icy slope, these worked fantastic!! I didn’t slip at all. After the call I noticed one had snapped, as shown in the picture.

Easy to put on, easy to walk with them on, on ice. Well worth having if you get ice. Ever. Rare here, but wasn't grounded. Couldn't get my car up into the garage, but with these on, casually walked up the slope and into the house. Not sure what I would have done without them. Slept in the car?
