Like glass !!!
I bought some used rods , including a 10ft medium heavy ugly stick - probably would of been easier to buy new - but I like figuring things out - the condition of the pole was atrocious - not a single piece of shiny finish - I used a thin coat of finish - I didn’t have the fancy rotator , I simply held held it in my hand and applied the finish with some plastic weaved bag , it came out very nicely !!!! Self leveled itself - I used a paper plate with aluminum foil to mix , the dispensers worked like a charm ! Great finish - took two days to dry and it looks like new !!! Will buy again ! paired it with some vintage Penn saltwater reels that I also rebuilt - ready to fish in the gulf !!!!

Flexcoat rod-wrap finish
I used varnish products for years. This two part finish is so much better than varnishes and makes your wrapping look like a pro finished the rod!

Syringes Included
Just ordered the 2 oz. set and the syringes were included. Made mixing accurate amounts a breeze. Seems to take a little longer to set up than the instructions say, but no other issues. Sets up very clear. We'll see if the finish yellows over time, but so far very pleased with the results.

I think its one of the the best epoxy based rod wrap finishes
I've used this on several fly rods, and as the epoxy based finishes go its one of the best. Stirred properly, bubbles shouldn't be a problem. Its easy to mix, and the high build feature means fewer coats to achieve a smooth finish over the wraps if that is what your looking for. time for recoating is reasonable (about 8 hours). It holds up well and does not yellow over time.

Best resin I have used so far -
I bought this after a week to to coat over another major brand that would not dry and stayed tacky - mixed with 3cc for both resin and hardener as I did with the other brand and it was dry enough to put on a second and third coat every 3.5 hours - could have put on the additional coats sooner - I have a lot of 30+ year old fishing rods to repair so I bought 8oz bottles of the other stuff that is only good for the garbage - I will only give the name of the crap stuff on it's review - I have another brand to try but I will definitely make this my main brand when I buy more -

New Flexcoat
Have used Flexcost for years and been very happy with product. Noticed yellowing of wraps on an older pole. Anticipate this will eliminate that.

Nothing in english
Like how it works after figuring it out how to install the wires Dislike why you sell something here in the USA why you can’t slip one little page in English with it

Wouldn't buy anything else
I started using Prokote. The results varied and I wasn't impressed with it.I switched to Flexcoat and haven't looked back since. It has a beautiful clear finish that dries pretty quickly and levels out perfectly if you use it correctly.Flexcoat has a great line of products and their youtube channel has some really easy to follow tutorials on how to use them.
