I’m afraid I do not know why all ceiling fan shades are white. I can only assume that, because the inside of a ceiling fan light fitting is not aesthetically pleasing, there would be very little demand for a clear glass shade. Also, a white shade defuses the bright light generated by light bulbs that could otherwise be over-glaring. But I am only guessing. Kind regards Caroline
