I'm using the 60m kit on 30m cat 6 cable with wireless mouse to monitor CCTV in another room. I get black screen quite frequently and mouse is intermittent..even with cabled mouse.Picture on monitor which is connected to sender unit is fine. He sent me a higher spec system which has an additional power supply for the receiver and it has operated flawlessly so far.

I've been messing about with HDMI runs for more than a decade for various A/V installs so I'm well aware of just how problematic it can be. I'm using this to send the (1080p) picture from a CCTV NVR around 20 metres over a cat6 cable. I've never had to reset it once and the loop out HDMI on the transmitter end works great.A CCTV NVR probably doesn't send the kind of bitrate that you would get from a typical Bluray disc so I can't comment on how it would perform in a TV type set up however for a typical domestic CCTV type application it's highly recommended. Note that the receiver end doesn't require any power which is a bonus.

Use to connect CCTV recorder located in loft, to living room. Worked perfectly fine, no issues.

I use this to transmit HDMI video from my desktop computer to a TV in the kitchen (receiver unit) and to a TV in the Living Room (via HDMI loop-out from the transmitter unit).On the Living Room TV at the transmitter end I often get black screen on the HDMI loop-out or no sound. As soon as I power off and on the transmitter the sound/image works again.Image quality is not great on the receiver end, the colours are not clear and often (almost daily) I have to reset the receiver because it shows screen all pink.Also unless I am missing something, the reset buttons on the transmitter/receiver don't seem to work or have any effect.

I run a CCTV company and was impressed when I found this bit of kit. I put the all the cctv gear in people’s loft out the way, then this gives them the option to have a monitor and be able to use a mouse to control the box from any room in the house. I just get one of this for myself to conect my pc on my room to the TV on living room.Important to say that the porpoise of this is play games.First testI have connected standards cables hdmiAnd standard cat 6 cable that I get from (Ali ex).It's very bad same games I could play for couple of minutes before the image lost, others like f1 manager 2023 you can't even start.Will get proper cables from amazon and retest.Update Sun.
