DC Comics Multiverse, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns 30th Anniversary Edition Superman Action Figure

Great.DC Comics Multiverse creates another collection for hardcore DC fans. Nothing is more hardcore for DC fans than Frank Miller's epic Dark Knight Returns series. The DC Comics Elseworlds story of a Batman returning from a forced retirement to take on crime in his city. There are a multitude of compliments given for this story, that its an epic Western set in modern times with costumes and masks. Whatever you like to describe it, it works, its been working for thirty years. With two sequels, an animated film and hundreds of references in the main DC Comics Universe, DC Films, in particular DC's newest Extended Film Universe with Dawn of Justice.This action figure comes from the epic finale where Batman is forced to fight Superman in a battle to the death and the honor to defend the right to fight. The figure looks awesome, it practically jumps from the pages of Lynn Varley's artwork, down to that really large curl. Standing at 7 inches, its believable to think that this belongs with the Mattel DC Universe Classics/DC Comics Multiverse action figure lineup. The figure is big, I mean big, from his boots, trunks, chest, arms and legs. The figure is all solid plastic, with a plastic cape. Simple and direct. The articulation is also pretty cool, with an ab crunch. Still the arms, legs and head can move nicely. Mine has an odd problem with the feet, but I assume that's just mine.The figure has only one accessory, the Kryptonite arrow that Green Arrow used against him in the fight between Superman and Batman. Still, its very good.

I purchased this Superman to go with my Arkham series Figures Collection he didn't really fit in with there look but due to my love of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight returns and this figures perfect resemblance to how he's depicted in the animated movie I still display him he also comes with the kryptonite Arrow from tge movie great figure.

Good figure. Mattel’s 6 inch figs always seem more sturdy than Hasbro ‘s stuff. Where Mattel lacks is usually in the detail and paint apps. But I am overall very happy with ol’ Sups here. The spit curl is epic. I think I would have preferred a soft goods cape though.

The box had been packed very well, no signs of damage, the figure is brand new and the delivery time was surpinsingly small 👍🏻

Amazing figure by Mattel. Not only it's a great representation of Superman from TDKR, it's also compatible with MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE CLASSICS.
