This is great easy setup. I've had it about a month and has already saved me momey on water usage.

Seriously, I am a 67 year old female who installed this myself without any trouble. It was a replacement to an older model that failed. The older model had too many features and when it failed, I was glad. This one has every feature we need for our small yard, and seems quite rugged.

Its doesnt come Wi-Fi enabled. The thing requires a separate Wi-Fi wand (purchased separately, $100) before it's actually Wi-Fi controllable. Now, more money, and another week before it's installed. SMH...

I have been an irrigation tech for over 30 years and I have to say that Hunter controllers are the most user friendly. I’ve installed and troubleshot all makes and models through the years and the only small “con” that the x-core has is that it doesn’t handle a power surge very well.

Had the wifi adapter and this unit could not get it to work a d connection to wifi. Had to.return it and try different model.
