Does not fit 3/8" fuel hose
Barbs were to large for 3/8" fuel hose. Outer diameter of barb is around 1/2 inch

Most accurate water flow sensor with this sensing range
I have tested three different styles of water sensor for linearity and repeatability: oval gear (this product), impeller, and MEMS thermopile. I used a peristaltic pump with a calibrated output to check the sensor output against the known flow rate. This sensor is by far the most repeatable and linear of any I have tested.The MEMS thermopile sensors were very noisy and had poor repeatability. Almost useless for precision flow metering.The impeller sensors were repeatable but they have significant nonlinear behavior, often deviating by -30% from linear, especially at high flow rates. They could be used for metering but a calibration curve will be needed.The oval gear flow sensor (GREDIA) deviates by at most -9% at 10L/min. It is almost perfectly linear over the range of 0.5-8L/min, with a deviation of at maximum 5% from linear. However, the repeatability is within 1%, so this sensor can be calibrated for very repeatably.
