My initial 5* review has had to change to a 3* now as we have encountered an issue with changing the seat. With the smooth design and sides closed in there is no way to access the bolts underneath as you would with a standard type of toilet! The seat was fitted before the toilet was attached to the cistern so we would need a major job and a plumber to change it! We have had to get the exact same seat and dismantle it at the fixing point as there is no other way to do it.As we are getting on, when refurbishing the bathroom from scratch we decided to go for a comfort height toilet. Some are not much higher than a standard one but this one is and once you get used to it meeting you halfway it is really good. Being rimless is brilliant as it is really easy to clean. The only thing we didn't like was the white plastic seat as it didn't look right in the black and grey bathroom, so we looked around and found a grey mosaic one, easy to fit as the toilet is a standard fit for a replacement seat. Really pleased with the finished result! The only issue we had was that the WC unit purchased from another company to match the rest was a bit short even though sold for a comfort height loo. Take care to get a cistern that will connect as the first one we had wouldn't, the pipe wouldn't line up, and we had to find a smaller one that would sit that bit higher but still within the unit.
