Save your Jeep Windshield
If you own a jeep wrangler, then you know that your windshield will be filled with stone chips and cracks all the time. I live in Arizona and have replaced my windshield three times in one year due to cracks and chips due to stones. These Jeeps are shaped like a brick and even a cow is more aerodynamic. The flat upright windshield lets stone hit it hard. For fear of my insurance cost going up from too many claims , I started looking for some help. I found places that would put a film on your windshield but the cost was high (about 300 to 400 dollars) So I saw this this a decided to give it a try. Goes on pretty easy and the 17.7 X 10 foot roll will do it twice. After 8 months and many stone hits, I have no new chips or cracks. This stuff has done a good job protecting my windshield. I now need to replace it with a new piece because it does get scratched up from the wipers eventually. Comes off pretty easy with a razor blade, clean the window and reinstall.

Does not adhere
Product is junk. Spent an hour cleaning gass with window cleaner and then alcohol to remove any oils on glass. Followed instructions and soaked the glass and film with water. Easily went on, but as the film started to dry, top and bottom started peeling out. I sat this film before applying it on a table with books on it to get the natural roll flattened out. It still curled out. My guess is that this film being thicker retains that curl from it being rolled up. That curl is what is preventing it from adhering at the top and bottom. Don't waste your money on this.

Very good quality
Very good quality. I would have preferred if it had two side clear covering layers.

Works Well
I have had this installed on my window for 8 months, & it has held up PERFECTLY. I have a crack in my window, & this was JUST what I needed to help Bond it back in place. To help prevent further cracking, & help to insulate, & improve strength. It's no more difficult than ANY film would be to install. You have to know what you're doing to prevent bubbles, particles, with the static that is inevitable. I like that there is PLENTY in case you have to redo. GREAT Value!

Glass film for strengthening shelves
Very difficult to use alone, even with help no matter what we did we still got bubbles. Luckily, I have things to go over the bubbles and they’re not as noticeable, but I would like to see some thing that works a little bit better and better instructions as well.

Window film
I was surprised at how much warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer that the mil plastic film made our southwest room feel comfortable. Although it is expensive, it is well worth it. Be sure to follow installation instructions.

Easy with the right tools
I needed to add a layer of film inside my sliding glass door to protect the glass from my rescue dog's nails. When he wants to go out, he taps the glass and I thought it would eventually scratch. The 4 mil film cut beautifully on my quilting (Olfa) mat and rotary cutter. I put distilled water in my spray bottle because our tap water is hard and can have algae in it. The scraper I had from a phone screen protector kit. I had to re-spray the water every time I repositioned the film (which was 30" wide) but I managed to install it by myself. It looks really good. I think 4 mil is easier to handle than the 2 mil would have been. To remove the backing, use some masking tape. I would recommend this product for pet owners who want something clear but protective.
