Worth the money
Like the fact that it works well didn't like the fact that it's kind of cheap feeling the plastic circuit board is fell apart once already had the super glue it back other than that good product

Junk. Pops off the glow plug.
Junk. Pops off the glow plug before you can get near the pull start. The outer sleeve slides right off the inner shaft too. Poorly made. The voltage reducer component seems to work well though. I held an OS8 plug in the socket and it had a consistent glow until I pulled it out. I have a nice older glow clip from my airplane days that I’ll wire to the voltage reducer.

Great concept, a few short comings, but functional
Using this on an 1/8 truggy using a starter box.PRO- no more dead batteries since it uses the starter box battery- it works better than my old D cell powered one- L.E.D. to confirm powerCON- wires are a tad short- not always the easiest to get it seated properly on the glow plug (most likely a learning curve)- entire body is exposed metal which means if it touches the positive post/clamp/lead...it likes to smokeIn one of my first couple of uses, I started by buggy, dropped the ignitor, and was taking the buggy off the starter box and saw smoke coming up from the ignitor. The metal ignitor body had touched the positive power clip. Luckily I got off easy with just some slightly deformed insulation on the wire, the ignitor is still functional. I ended up wrapping the metal body with electrical tape. I plan to extend the wires out longer and then swap the clips out for banana plugs to lessen the exposed surfaces when connected to my starter box.

It will make your glow plug glow a nice pretty orange
Glow engines need a glowing glow plug to start. I have a battery box with 2 18650 batteries. Those cheep igniters that use a AA battery are complete total junk. Brand new batteries will smoke a little and maybe glow for 2 seconds if your lucky. Rechargeable AA are worse yet only supplying 1.2 volts. Buy this you will be amazed

The thing burnt out within hours of owning it
I bought this and maybe used it for like 4 hours and then it didn't work no more not wasn't worried about it though I guess you get what you pay for in this day and age I don't know if mine were just the default but yeah I don't recommend it I might try to rechargeable one.
