L'Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream 1.70 oz

I used to buy this face cream a long time ago when I lived near a l'Occitane store. It's been awhile since I used it though and I forgot how much I liked it. It smells lovely (like the Immortelle essential oil), and the texture is thick, rich & creamy.It does a very good job at moisturizing; other similar moisturizers didn't touch the extreme dryness I have from the desert climate here. This cream isn't greasy however, and soaks in quickly, but lasts all night. Other moisturizers left my skin dry again in the morning after applying it at night.The only drawback is the price; it's almost doubled since I used to buy it years ago. However, the jar is relatively large, and used sparingly will last me a good 2-3 months.

I have a special friend for whom I have for years bought this product for birthday and for Christmas. She recently turned 65 and I must say that I think her facial skin looks fabulous! I personally use multiple L'occitaine products, and, though they are all somewhat pricey, they seem to do the job well. I don't check out many lines of cosmetic products (though I am a retired dermatologist!) And for all I know they may not be the most expensive products around anymore!

Poorly packaged, an expensive small product and fragile, the worst of it, amazon sent me a mail guaranteeing a refund, It turned out that the information was false, I never received this refund.
