As said on the tin

I used this insulation to line an acoustic cover I had made for a portable generator. The insulation was easy to use and stuck well to the substrate. However when I came to test its effectiveness I was disappointed in the level of attenuation achieved. This poor performance may be in part my design of cover but I was expecting more of the insulation. The higher frequencies were reduced but the overall loudness was almost unchanged.

Easy to cut, shape, install. Definitely cut down on the noise in the boot

Bought to soundproof bedroom floor, bit unusual but has reduced noise quite a bit. Very sticky stuff, tend to shrink a bit when taken off the backing paper. Cheap alternative to actual floor soundproofing.

Did the job perfectly

Bought for back of my van and it didn't seem to adhere properly and fell off rather easily. We kept it on and used an adhesive instead to stick them

Used to line the over cab area in my campervan, sticks well. Only the shape of the area made it tricky

Fantastic adhesion, once it's stuck you won't get it off without ripping it up so apply with caution. Folds and molds to body shapes nicely. Using to help reduce road noise on a Citroen AX
