Great batteries, arrived fast and good value.

I keep buying these since having kids, they seem to last a good amount of time but it's difficult to gauge when they go into the number of different toys we have around the house.

What is wrong with these batteries, I bought a packs of AAA And AA, they last at best 8 to 12 weeks in our TV remotes, room wall stats and anywhere else we have tried them. We would normally get at least a year out of normal Duracell’s so what’s the problem are they a bad batch? because if they are not for the use we are putting them too what are they for?
