Kinesiology was so hard for me in school. When I order this study guide I was skeptical because nothing seem to be helping me really grasp Kinesiology, however when I say this study guide made it so much easier to retain the information it’s an understatement. David took a very complex subject and simplified so much so that it made it super easy to understand! All his material are great for mblex prep and because of his work I feel very confident that I will pass my mblex and become a LMT in no time.

Easy to read, well written, straight forward. Strongly recommend this material.

This review is based on both of David Merlino LMT, study books: MBLEx Test prep comprehensive study guide and workbook 2022-2023 and Kinesiology Made easy : Fourth editionI wanted to wait until after I took my exam to make a thorough review on my studying experience and the outcome.I came across David Merlino’s : Kinesiology made easy and MBLEx test prep comprehensive study guide and work book. Let me just say his books are 120% worth it. He brakes down everything in way that it’s easy to understand while providing tips and acronyms on how to remember specific terms, like (SITS) Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus, teres minor, Subscapularis , (this acronym is literally engraved in my mind lol) his books also cover everything from medical terminology, pathologies, cardiovascular system, nervous system, muscular system, and so much more. My favorite part about his book is that there are multiple Practice test and crossword puzzles so you can really put your knowledge to the test. In addition to utilizing his workbooks, I also downloaded David’s MBLEx test prep app (premium)which was extremely helpful as well. David Merlino also has a podcast where he goes over specific areas that may be covered on the MBLEx as well.if you are a student who is preparing to take the MBLEx exam and is serious about studying this material, I more than recommend these books.I took my exam on July 20th and I passed my MBLEx and it has truly been the best thing that has happened to me. I’m extremely grateful, and with the help of David Merlino, I was able to pass my exam and I am truly ready to start my career as a licensed massage therapist.

This is great for an OTA student like me! BUT I just wish it was printed in color. I would have paid double for color photos and diagrams. The muscles blend in to the bones with it all being grayscale.

The way the book was formatted it was easy to understand. It brought a lot of needed concepts together into one page. I was able to write in all the crazy notes/ drawings I needed to. Passed the mblex today. Couldn't have done it without this book

First of all , i took the Mblex in April of 2023 my first attempt and i did not pass. After that I purchased this book along with his mblex test prep and pathology book & studied like crazy . I also used his Mblex test prep app . I am happy to say i passed my mblex February 2024 & it was because of David Merlino’s material . So many activities to help you learn and understand. I will be using these books as i go into my career as well . They are great resources ! Thank you David !
