Very Nice Smart Notebook (However, these are the same notebooks sold by Newyes, FYI)
Got this for seventeen year old my son, primarily because of the planner pages included at the front. It's worked well to help keep him on track with his homeschool lessons. He has some learning disabilities, but as long as we have a meeting to plan out his lessons for each subject once a week, he is getting better at doing most of his lessons independently after a short tutorial of the material. He uses the notebook for English, History, Science, Art and Engineering (Math he has a workbook for), this semester. Next semester he will swap out French for Engineering and Music for Art. The dotted pages at the back work great for anything that you need to draw, making graphs or making your own music staff paper, and then you can erase it and reuse it. Nice multi-purpose notebook. Also bought 4 of the A5 size (2 of them for our 2 younger kids and 2 for Christmas presents, for hubby and one of my brothers... my get a few more for my 3 other brothers' and my brother-in-law's gifts.) These smaller ones were Elfinbook brand when they arrived and did not have the planner pages at the front and half the pages are totally blank for drawing or other applications.

Easy way to keep up with written notes.
I really like this product over all it is durable and allows me to minimize my paper waste. The only downside which is not all that bad is it takes a long time to erase the pages. It takes up to a minute for the ink to disappear, and I have to go over the same page several times with a blow dryer.

Smart Notebook
It’s a decent reusable notebook; my main issue with it was that the app needed to scan documents was $60

Better than rocketbook
The erasable gel pens write better on this product than on Rocketbook. It is hard to describe but the feel/friction of the pen makes for clearer lines. The Rocketbook pages are slightly thicker but not enough to justify the expense. The pages in this book are brighter. There is a mix of grid dot and lined paper. The Rocketbook app is better than the suggested apps by the manufacturer, However the Rocketbook app does not always work correctly for me with the double hashtag titles. I found a better solution - use the Genius Scan app for free emailing of scans. It has advanced features for OneNote Dropbox etc for less than $10 if you need that. I'm going to sell my 2 Rocketbooks on Ebay. Erases easily with a damp cloth

Double edged
Unfortunately I am not happy with this product. I wrote in it the first time the way I always write and when I erased it there was still a shadow of what I wrote before. So I spoke with someone that had a competitor brand and they suggested writing more softly. I wrote with less pressure and still there was a shadow after erasing. So I dramatically reduced the pressure and now the pen does not fully write with so little pressure. I really cannot keep using the same sheet over and over as is advertised. I used a hairdryer to remove the ink as well as the erasure on the pen. I also tried a microfiber cloth but it doesn't matter as there is still a lingering shadow from the words or whatever was there before. I should have spent the extra money and gone with a better brand.

Great concept!
I take notes day in and day out about anything and everything so I will remember what I need to do and this is perfect for that! I haven't had any issues with erasing and reusing thus far! I will say that the book is not very sturdy, nor are the pages. I feel that it may not last very long because of that. When looking for a reusable notebook to carry around and use everyday I was hoping for something that would be sturdy enough to last awhile. Hopefully they can come out with a heavy duty version in the future! :)

Not great
It’s okay but not great. I wanted to like it because I do designs all day then digitize it and toss the paper. It doesn’t erase from the page very well; it takes a lot of work (45 minutes) to erase a drawing and text that fills the page (really tiny eraser). The pens are not like using a gel or ballpoint pen. The pens have an awkward bumpiness and the ink skips so you have to go over it a few time. For example if you want to draw a solid line, vertically, you’ll find the ink isn’t solid down the entire line as ther will be spots with no ink and you’ll need to do it two more times before it fills in.It does seem to dry quickly and doesn’t appear to smear or run, once on the page. HA Ha! I did struggle with how to use the pens and it just made me feel retarded! I tried clicking, twisting the top, twisting the bottom, twisting the middle, pulling, pushing the tip, looking for buttons; To have to click the pocket clip was a new one on me. I hate things that make the buyer and users feel stupid; put a stick on it saying click here!Improvements needed are a far far bigger eraser or a way to wipe the entire page at once. Also a better ink flow from the pen. Last I haven’t found anywhere to buy more pens so this may be a showstopper.

Overall great, but don't bother with their expensive app (read review for the bypass)
This is a great Rocketbook substitute. If you don't want to pay their ridiculous amount for their app, I have the solution. Pay $4.99 for TinyScan Pro (or for whatever scanner app you prefer). Hook it up to your favorite external drive: OneDrive, Google Drive, whatever. PDF, photo, scan your pages. Erase and go. I mean, you can PROBABLY find an OCR app out there. I haven't bothered to look.
