O-MEGA Star Warrior Stun Gun, Extra Large, 18.5 inches, 2.5 lb., Max Amps and Stopping Power

I bought mine 7 years ago. I loved it when I received it and I still love it. Most things you buy these days are junk and you get 6 months to a year of use before it falls apart or stops working. This has been one of the best investments I've ever made. I originally purchased this for late night walks with my dog. We have a lot of coyotes in our area. Once, we were being stalked by a coyote. When I actually got a good look though, we were being surrounded by 4 of them. All I had to do was tap the switch a few times and the sound had them running in the other direction. This is a heavy duty item. It's much heavier than other similar stun guns. You could actually use this one as a club if needed. It's also electrified up the shaft to prevent someone from taking it from you. This thing is pretty powerful. I accidentally zapped my finger and within seconds the area of skin that got zapped turned white as if it was burnt. It went away pretty quickly but was definitely painful. Any attacker that gets hit or zapped with this thing will think twice about continuing the assault and any animal or dog attack will end quickly. The only time I've had to actually use it as a stun gun was during a dog fight with 2 pitties. All I had to do was stick it down between them and with one zap it was all over. The extra length will keep you from losing some fingers. The owner asked where I got my zapper so she could buy one.This thing works as well today as it did the first day I bought it. FYI - If you put good, name brand batteries in it, they should last a very long time. After putting the first set of batteries in it when I bought it, I've changed the batteries in this thing one other time in 7 years. If you're looking for something you can carry in your car, that can be used quickly, while still in the car, this is not it. It's 18" long and weighs probably 2.5lbs. You need a little more room to maneuver it around. I initially wanted to use it for when I was Ubering people in my car but it wasn't practical. I ended up buying something much smaller for that. For everything else though, it's awesome. No regrets. It was worth every penny and works like it did on day one.

Wow you guys really should buy this thing!!, I’ve been using a 5 gallon plastic bucket to catch invasive field mice .lure them with popcorn in the bottom and everyday I come out and stir up the bucket with it and whatever is in it, I have made so many crows, and owls my friend, and it saved me a fortune by not buying bait or mouse traps anymore . I’m not sure what else I would use this on. It is a slightly heavy, but it is very well built solid and firm to hold You could almost use it as a miniclub . but that’s just me. I really love this thing. Great product.

Works well but it is almost 3 pounds so if you’re working out. GREAT. I LOVE IT

Quite hefty a little nose heavy making it difficult to wield properly great sparking sounds would make an elephant pause

UPDATE:At first I kind of liked this product, other than it is heavy and very large for its purpose -Really not practical to take with you anywhere. The handle is all plastic and looks kind of weak in my opinion... But the main reason I am giving this one star is because I discovered that when I "test" this thing on something, like touching something while it is activated, I got a shock through the activation pushbutton. So I started a return request but at the moment really did not have the time to pack and take to the post office. Unfortunately I forgot about it. Some time later while browsing through my orders I noticed again I had not return this product (it was just sitting on my room without use and hidden from sight). Since there was no return end date in the request, I proceeded to pack the product and return it. I also wrote the company to let them know that even though some time had gone by since I purchased it, I did not see an end date for the return and told them about the situation. Well I did not receive any response from the company and I don't even know if they received the product back or not. Needless to say I don't have my money or the product. So this has been wated money for me. If you want a good stun device, I recommend the Taser Strikelight, I've had it for a while and is portable, has a light, and in my opinion more reliable. I just recommend whatever you get purchase it from a company that cares about their customers and at least respond to their customers emails.---------------------------------------------------------I would like to give this a higher rating but there are some things I don't like about it: (1) I didn't expect it would be so heavy in the "baton" part of the device. If it was in the handle it wouldn't be so bad, but it is in the baton itself. So, in an emergency situation I think it would be hard to react quickly with it since it is so heavy to move fast enough to defend yourself properly. (2) It is a little complicated to put the batteries in. If you need to do this quickly it will be hard to do. Either you keep the batteries inside all the time, which I guess with time may start leaking, or need some time to put the batteries in. (3) There is no security switch to prevent accidental discharge, so, if you always have the batteries in, hope you or someone else does not turn it on by accident since it is so easy to activate. (4) The cap that goes in the battery compartment does not go in straight (at least in mine), it goes a little to one side of the baton and does not fit nicely, also it is made of plastic, so I'm afraid it can break easily. Other than these things it looks like a great baton. I specially like how it electrifies the whole baton, not only the top part so that no one can grab it from you. I consider it to be an expensive baton, so I hope it lasts.There is one more thing I forgot to mention. When I activate it and touch anything with it, the electricity seems to backflow to the switch and I get shoked. This is the main reason I want to return this. Not sure if mine is defective or not but this is my experience.

I bought this to break up fights between my female shepherds (Dutch & Malinois). Their fights are vicious (& bloody) and they are not responsive to pepper spray or a water hose in the throat. It was getting to the point where I needed to make a decision on keeping one or the other. A fight broke out about one week after I received this taser. I zapped the larger Dutch shepherd and she stopped and ran away. The Malinois chased after her and when she got to her I zapped her as well. Stopped the fight immediately with 1-3 second bursts. I recommend keeping fresh batteries in it at all times and replacing after use, this thing is powerful. I’m amazed by the reviewer that said it didn’t work for him. My dogs are powerful and relentless, I wouldn’t want to run into the dog that can’t be stopped by this thing. My last resort…. and it worked.
